Cawarden is celebrating after being shortlisted in the Midlands Family Business Awards 2023 – The UK’s only independent, not-for-profit annual awards ceremony for family businesses.
Cawarden is delighted to be shortlisted in the Construction & Property Excellence category. As a 2023 finalist, Cawarden will now automatically be entered in the People’s Choice Award, sponsored by Streets Chartered Accountants, where the Winner and Highly Commended are decided purely by online public vote.
The Midlands Family Business Awards, now in its second decade, is shining a light on over 150 years of family-owned businesses in the region this year by recognising success, achievements and innovations.
Family Businesses from the length and breadth of the Midlands are in the running across the 10 categories for 2023 and shortly after the announcement, Cawarden representatives were delighted to join a Finalist Celebration at Winstanley House in Leicester to celebrate success so far in the 2023 Awards.
The event was an opportunity to meet fellow family business finalists as well as hear what the judges will be looking for at the face-to-face judging days.
The black-tie awards ceremony is being held on 29 June and all award profits and funds raised at the event will be donated to the award’s chosen charity for 2023 – Move Against Cancer.
Previously attracting 300 guests including sponsors, judges and finalists, the evening is a tribute to the achievements of family businesses in the region and an excellent opportunity to bring teams together to meet other like-minded individuals and enjoy an evening of uplifting stories.
