Cawarden is pleased to have once again successfully renewed its SMAS Worksafe Contractor status accreditation. Alongside this, it has also achieved Principal Contractor status for the first time.
Cawarden has met the SSIP Core Criteria recognised by the HSE and other SSIP accreditation schemes. Meeting the SSIP Core Criteria demonstrates that the business is serious about Health and Safety and has (and use) an effective Health and Safety Management System to ensure that any work Cawarden is engaged in is, so far as reasonably practical, carried out without risk to health and safety.
As a Principal Contractor Cawarden has also successfully demonstrated that it plans, manages and monitors the construction and coordination of matters relating to Health and Safety.

SMAS Worksafe is a leading Health and Safety assessment provider and SSIP registered Member Scheme.
The Scheme assesses thousands of contractors annually according to the SSIP Core Criteria and are audited yearly to ensure a consistent standard is being delivered.
