TheBusinessDesk.com has revealed the shortlist for the East Midlands Business Masters 2022 with Derby-based Specialist Contractor, Cawarden, being selected by the judges as a finalist in two categories.
Shortlisted in the Medium-Size and Community Impact categories, the annual award ceremony is a key event in the business calendar, recognising the achievements of East Midlands companies.
TheBusinessDesk.com said they had received a record number of entries – over 120 – and an incredibly high standard of entrants meant that some great businesses missed out this time around.
The East Midlands business community will come together to celebrate the best of the region’s businesses on Thursday October 13, from 6.30pm, at the Crowne Plaza in Nottingham city centre.
The judging panel consisted: Grace Golden of Purpose Media; Rob Darby of 200 Degrees Coffee; Natalie Gasson-McKinley of FSB; Chris Hobson of East Midlands Chamber of Commerce; and Eileen Richards of ER Recruitment.
Obviously the pandemic created a huge number of challenges for businesses in all sectors. Many of our shortlisted companies are those that pivoted or pressed on while others paused – and the results are clear to see. The strength of the entries meant plenty of good businesses missed out this year, but we look forward to following their progress. We’re looking forward to celebrating their successes, and revealing the winners, at the awards dinner in October.”
