Back to the bare bones for a large office building in Warwick.
It has become increasingly common for large commercial buildings and office spaces to be stripped back to their shell so that they can be repurposed in the future. In light of this, we offer a comprehensive suite of strip-out and structural alteration services.
Whenever non-structural elements of a property need to be removed, our highly experienced and trained teams handle the project with great care.
As the Principal Contractor under CDM, Cawarden undertook a full strip-out of the Iceni Centre, a former office building located on the Warwick Technology Park.
The project involved removing interior components like fixtures, fittings, false ceilings, floor coverings, data floors, doors, and partition walls from the ground, first, and second floors, as well as plant room areas.
Cawarden handled all service isolations during the process.
Waste materials were removed from the building via the lifts and disposed of in skips, with removal off-site carried out under our Duty of Care.
Data floors were removed, salvaged, and then re-laid once all the cabling had been removed.
Boilers within the plant room were dismantled and lowered to ground level for removal off-site.
We conducted a waste audit to ensure that waste materials were efficiently segregated. As a licensed waste carrier, this enables us to maximise reuse and recycling, while reducing waste to landfill.
The meticulous preparation carried out by Cawarden has put the building in good stead for future redevelopment by the client.
